Kakboach's outer shell is coated in a slick fluid that makes it almost impossible to directly pick up, which is helpful when flying predator Pokémon are around its marshy habitat looking for a meal.

Its body is covered with a slimy film. It remains virtually immobile while it clings to a tree.
