Kakrow spends most of its time inside its nest, resting still until it evolves further. Rarely, it may take flight and scoop up food scraps or easy-to-snag berries in its talons and take them back to its nest to devour after it evolves.

Kakrow have chitin rich feathers that fold together to form a dense protective layer over their body. While this makes them clumsy in the air, it allows them to roost safe from predators whilst they gather the energy needed to evolve.

Its loud cry can be heard over half a mile away. It remains virtually immobile while it clings to a tree.
