Kangasrelp make their nests among seaweed to keep them and their families hidden from predators. However, the children are playful and love plucking seaweed to eat, much to their parent's annoyance.

Camouflaged as rotten kelp, they spray liquid poison on prey that approaches unawares and then finish it off. If you come across a young Kangasrelp playing by itself, never try to catch it.
