When intimidated, Kofftu will shoot out a burst of smoke and use its wings to send it towards its opponent. Kofftu's spherical shape is not very aerodynamic, but since heat rises, its high temperature makes it lighter.
It runs up short trees that grow on the savanna to peck at new shoots. Getting up close to a Kofftu will give you a chance to observe, through its thin skin, the toxic gases swirling inside.
