Krokockle stores sand within its sturdy shell, which it pours out to use for attacks. However, battering Krokockle often causes it to lose all of its sand quickly, causing it to attempt to run away to gather more.

A Krokockle hides under rocks, keeping its body concealed inside its shell while eating stored berries. The special membrane covering its eyes can sense the heat of objects, so it can see its surroundings, even in darkness.
