Contrary to their looks, the leaves on Leafdra's body are incredibly sharp, being able to cut through trees with ease. The goo Leafdra secretes allow them to slow their foes' movement before quickly finishing the battle with a well-placed slash.

It gets picked on because it's meek. Just like a plant, it uses photosynthesis.
