Magdon spends little time on land above the surface since its magma body cools and hardens the longer it's up there. Therefore, it spends most of its time slumbering in red-hot caves underground, where hot lava floods the majority of its home.
Magdon has appeared in mythology as the creator of the land. The shell on its back is made of hardened magma.
