Its hulking body is controlled by the Magikarp within its core. Despite now being a fearsome fighter, the Magikarp is still vulnerable to Flying-type Pokémon plucking it up and carrying it away.
It is said that Magilurk were ordered to protect people and Pokémon by the ancient people who made them. Its swimming muscles are weak, so it is easily washed away by currents.
