Magrow swim along the surface of active lava flows, their bodies capable of withstanding the intense temperature of the molten rock. They shape cooling lava into elaborate nests in an effort to attract potential partners.

Its long neck and elongated beak are ideal for catching prey in soil or water. In battle, it blows out intense flames from all over its body to intimidate its foe.
