Magnenoir channels electric signals and disperses them through the magnets on its body. This disrupts electronic devices, causing them to malfunction. Once a Magnenoir moves into an area, the electric Pokémon there begin to behave erratically.

The antenna on its head captures radio waves from the world of spirits that command it to take people there. It evolved from exposure to a special magnetic field.
