Considered bastions of the ocean, Mangross use their large bodies to shelter smaller Pokémon. They glide along currents to travel, protecting migrating Pokémon from predators and clearing debris.

Mangross has four brains that are joined by a complex neural network. On sunny days, schools of Mangross can be seen elegantly leaping over the waves.
