Marocargo are often used to search through the aftermath of lava flows for anything that was unfortunate enough to be caught up in it. They unearth the remains and carry them to the local cemetery, delivering the bones to the groundskeeper.
The shell on its back is made of hardened magma. A Marocargo is the evolved form of a Cubone that has grown tough by overcoming the grief of losing its mother.
