Mawper keeps its large jaw above the water, allowing it to breathe. Flying Pokémon sometimes perch on it, which Mawper finds ticklish. This causes it to sneeze, covering the Pokémon that landed on it in a mildly toxic goo.
Mawper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. Its giant jaws are actually steel horns that transformed.
