The smaller heads resemble Beldum and act as scouts for the center head by emerging from the soil first in order to check if the coast is clear. In battle, the smaller heads also serve as turrets, being able to fire psychic blasts from their eyes.

Because the triplets originally split from one body, they think exactly alike. Metatrio has four brains that are joined by a complex neural network.
