Mewdos's silk is stronger than diamond but causes it pain if it produces too much. A bedtime story tells of one that held an entire town together with its silk during an earthquake, only to pass away from overexertion.
Its feet are tipped with tiny hooked claws that enable it to scuttle on ceilings and vertical walls. A Mewdos is said to possess the genes of all Pokémon.
