By touching its tail to someone's head, Mewtu can read their future. Should it foresee danger ahead for them, it will teleport them to a safe location and monitor them closely for days.
During windy hours, Mewtu hides in tree trunks while extending its tail out in the air. It does this to measure wind speeds, acting as a weathervane. When the wind subsides, Mewtu take flight again.
