Mewbat does hit-and-run dives to bite onto targets and drink some of their blood. It is surprisingly gentle, lacing its fangs with a psychic energy that makes the puncture and drinking process almost completely painless.

While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision. A Mewbat is said to possess the genes of all Pokémon.
