To gain energy and strength, Molzma devours lots of magma from volcanoes. When desperate to find more magma, it tears open the ground using its claws until magma from the mantle layer rushes out.

Molzma's flames burn hotter and brighter by absorbing the light around it. At maximum power, its entire body will be engulfed in fire that will blind a person at a glance or leave permanent burn wounds if touched.

Light is apparently the source of its energy. Molzma is a legendary bird Pokémon that can control fire.
