Mudpie like to spend most of their time in the mud found in wet marshlands. They only get out of the water during heavy rainfall, where they eat the reeds and other plant life found in the marshland.

Its voracious appetite compels it to devour leaves bigger than itself without hesitation. On land, it can powerfully lift large boulders by planting its four feet and heaving.
