The hats found on Naeye are extremely flammable. When ready to evolve, groups of Naeye gather their gemstones into a single pile and perform a ritual dance beneath the harsh sun of their natural habitat until their hats burn away.
It digs branching holes in caves using its sharp claws in search of food--raw gems. It runs up short trees that grow on the savanna to peck at new shoots.
