Necrophox uses its staff to control the powers of darkness and create spells that cause indefinite nights in localized parts of the world. By pointing its wand at an object, it siphons its light energy and causes impurities to grow in its place.

It gazes into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, which allows it to see into the future. Light is apparently the source of its energy.
