The prisms lodged in the bodies of Necroluff capture and refract light within their matrices. The structure of these crystals isn't fully understood, but they have been demonstrated to bear a remarkable similarity to that of Z-Crystals from Alola.

Necroluff keeps itself airborne by firing lasers at the ground, the colour depending on its mood. As it grows angry, the beams shift toward red and gain enough energy to damage objects, even setting them on fire.

Necroluff ride warm southern winds to cross the sea and fly to foreign lands. Light is apparently the source of its energy.
