Once Necropede claims a light source for itself, it defends it with its life to prevent anyone else from getting near it. To drain objects of their light energy, it uses its whole body to wrap around the object while latching on with all of its claws.

Highly aggressive, it uses the claws near its neck to dig into its opponents and poison them. Light is apparently the source of its energy.
