Necroeal can be found gobbling up any light beams it sees. When it eats enough, it claps excitedly. Trainers of Necroeal are encouraged to purchase an abundance of flashlights.

Necroeal have been documented to passively absorb the light around them, which they use as energy to power their ability to roll. Necroeal enjoy sleeping on beds of ice and will try to freeze anything that threatens their chosen resting place.

It is completely covered with plushy fur. Light is apparently the source of its energy.
