The tentacles on Octibat's wings adversely affect its flight capabilities, making it difficult to pursue prey. To compensate, it spits a debilitating poison ink from its mouth to slow down targets enough for it to catch up and ensnare them.
Its fangs easily puncture even thick animal hide. It ensnares its foe with its suction- cupped tentacles before delivering the finishing blow.
