Its skull is harder than diamond due to having lived within ocean depths for much of its life, the sheer pressure refining much of its body. It feeds by filtering nutrients out of water and other fluids through its many small, blue feelers.

It lived in jungles around 100 million years ago. One of the ancient and long-since-extinct Pokémon that have been regenerated from fossils by humans.
