Palosaur are often found roaming beaches, parading about the sand castle on its back. If someone alters the castle in a way Palosaur does not like, they will lie immobile atop the person until they have absorbed their life force.

Palosaur's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight. Buried beneath the castle are masses of dried-up bones from those whose vitality it has drained.
