Parallery no longer possesses the ability to generate ink from its mouth. Instead, it spits out thick globs of mycelium and spores that burst outward on contact and infect large groups at once.

It ensnares its foe with its suction- cupped tentacles before delivering the finishing blow. Parallery are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
