Large amounts of mushroom spores release from Paraeal's cap as it rolls around polar areas. The mushrooms that grow remain cool even when removed from their frigid place of growth.

Paraeal hop short distances to travel to different areas of their forest homes to spread spores. If they see a friend they will try to roll to them, only to roll in circles on account of their mushroom cap.

It is completely covered with plushy fur. Paraeal are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
