Paranub is often seen moving in circles in the wild. Its sense of smell alerts it to the scent of a powerful mushroom, unaware that it is chasing after the one atop its own head.

It roots for food by rubbing its snout against the ground. Paranub are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
