Paraterra can be found in the wild, masquerading as a pile of bones held together by a mushroom colony. When prey wander too close, Paraterra disorients them with a cloud of spores before getting up and charging forward.
Small Pokémon occasionally gather on its unmoving back to begin building their nests. Paraterra are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
