Paraitar's armoured plates play host to an aggressive fungus, leaving them plagued with constant mushroom growth across their body. They seek out sandstorms, trying to use the abrasive storms to clean the parasitic growths from themselves.

A Paraitar is so overwhelmingly powerful, it can bring down a whole mountain to make its nest. Paraitar are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
