The feathers on its back are pointed and can tense enough to cut tough hides. It burrows using its strong claws and glides through the air when it leaps out of the ground.

Pidslash have stiffened feathers sprouting from its back. While difficult to use for flight, these feathers are strong defensive structures and function as protective spines.

It curls up in a ball to protect itself from enemy attacks. It has an extremely sharp sense of direction.
