The thick fur and layers of fat coating the bodies of Pilochu allow them to survive in harsh arctic environments. They can charge their tails with electricity to create a bright burst of light, helping them to see in the middle of blizzards.

If it stores too much electricity, its behavior turns aggressive. A Pilochu is covered by a thick coat of long hair for enduring freezing cold.
