Poryeon uses the green wires from its body to infuse computer files with volts of electricity so that they shock the device user when clicked on. However, it can't control how much power it pumps into these files, so it sometimes fries the device.

Its cells generate weak power that is amplified by its fur's static electricity to drop thunderbolts. Additional software was installed to make it a better Pokémon.
