Porycruel is found in the darkest depths of the sea where it corrupts data from sunken ships. Studying Porycruel is difficult, as its tentacles corrupt equipment used to study its body and force the devices to give inaccurate readings.

To communicate with its own kind, Porycruel emits light from the blue organs atop its head. Much of its lower body is pitch black to serve as camouflage, yet it can emit bright green lights along its lower body to intimidate others.

It lives in complex rock formations on the ocean floor and traps prey using its 80 tentacles. It was created by humans using the power of science.
