Pupipix's tough shell keeps its developing body safe from attackers. To further protect itself, it creates fire orbs from its tail that circle around it as extra defense.

It can freely control fire, making fiery orbs fly like will-o'-the-wisps. A Pupipix creates a gas inside its body that it ejects under compression to propel itself like a jet.
