Pyukuzma tears up beaches with its giant hands to allow shallow amounts of water to flood the whole shore. This is done so it can lounge around on the sand and catch the sun's rays without worry of ever drying up.

Light is apparently the source of its energy. It can eject its internal organs, which it uses to engulf its prey or battle enemies.
