Quagrok enjoys playing pranks on swimmers by dragging them underwater for a few seconds. It isn't particularly clever; in fact, instead of hunting, it makes do with the leftovers left by other Pokémon.
The special membrane covering its eyes can sense the heat of objects, so it can see its surroundings, even in darkness. A Quagrok hunts by leaving its mouth wide open in water and waiting for its prey to blunder in.
