Quagtrum lays down for long periods, using the soft beard as a cushion while waiting for prey to accidentally walk into its open maw. It is incredibly calm but loves to be pampered like royalty.
This heavy predator lies submerged in mud, using its massive jaws to snap shut on unsuspecting prey. Despite its primitive ferocity, it possesses a strangely dim-witted gaze and will often ignore pain while rampaging through wetlands.
Thanks to its gargantuan jaws, which could shred thick metal plates as if they were paper, it was invincible in the ancient world it once inhabited. A Quagtrum hunts by leaving its mouth wide open in water and waiting for its prey to blunder in.
