When people with malicious intentions are around Rior, aura particles begin to rapidly release from its body. It is a tough Pokémon, working hard to return to space when it falls from the atmosphere despite its outer shell being shattered.
Originally making its home in the ozone layer, it hurtles to the ground when the shell enclosing its body grows too heavy. The aura that emanates from its body intensifies to alert others if it is afraid or sad.
