If anyone violates its resting place, Salagrigus becomes enraged and opens its coffin door to blast fire at everything nearby. With it having grown wings for flight, it constantly uses them to fly to ancient tombs and eat any gold kept within.
They pretend to be elaborate coffins to teach lessons to grave robbers. After many long years, its cellular structure underwent a sudden mutation to grow wings.
