Sandiferno's eyes are well protected from dust and dirt, allowing them to dig through the ground without worry. They do so to maneuver around opponents, popping up beneath them with their powerful jaws.
To intimidate attackers, it stretches the fire on its tail to make itself appear bigger. It moves along below the sand's surface, except for its nose and eyes.
