These desert Pokémon loose strong shockwaves from their wings to churn through the sand and bury most of their bodies to hide and rest. Their yellow hides are tough enough to endure most attacks, so they often shield themselves using their tails.

By churning its wings, it creates shock waves that inflict critical internal injuries to foes. When it curls up in a ball, it can make any attack bounce off harmlessly.
