Sandyeye silently sit along shorelines, shoveling and sifting the sand in search of pearls or seaglass. If a Sandyeye spots a Trainer helping to pick up trash from the beach, it will offer them a trinket from its haul as thanks.
It digs branching holes in caves using its sharp claws in search of food--raw gems. It likes the shovel on its head, so Sandyeye will get serious and fight any children who come to take it back.
