Sandyrunt is not comfortable unless its body is large enough to press firmly against the sides of its bucket-like shell. If its body erodes too much, it will work together with other Sandyrunt to intimidate others to assist in gathering its sand.

They tend to move about in groups of around five Sandyrunt. It likes the shovel on its head, so Sandyrunt will get serious and fight any children who come to take it back.
