Sandyper turn almost invisible when submerged in water, only given away by the shovel on their head that remains solid. Anyone who attempts to take the shovel is said to have a curse put on them that causes them to slowly turn into sand.
Sandyper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. It likes the shovel on its head, so Sandyper will get serious and fight any children who come to take it back.
