With the tops of their heads, Seedgull can attach themselves to trees and siphon their nutrients in lieu of eating solid matter. They spread their wings to glide and to ride updrafts to travel; flocks migrate to warmer climates to avoid winter colds.

It makes its nest on a sheer cliff at the edge of the sea. It hangs off branches and absorbs nutrients.
