Belpent is often mistaken for an unusually designed light fixture. Though it rarely moves or does anything without instruction from its Trainer, many people report the uncomfortable feeling that Belpent is watching them.
It arrives near the moment of death and steals spirit from the body. When Belpent gather in a swarm, they move in perfect unison as if they were but one Pokémon.
