Carmie's body is primarily made up of near-impenetrable crystals. It absorbs ambient light into the gem in its center, which fuels radiant beams of light it uses to defend itself from attackers.

People in ancient times imagined that Carmie were transformed from the reflections of stars that twinkled on gentle waves at night. Born from the high temperatures and pressures deep underground, it defends itself by firing beams from the jewel part of its body.
